It was a fantastic Friday in Mrs. Harvath's class!




***Pack your swim stuff on Monday



****On Friday, May 18th, our class will be going to the Baldwin House to read books to senior citizens from 10-10:40 a.m. We will leave BCS at 9:45 a.m. and will need approximately 9 drivers. If you are able to drive that morning, please let Mrs. Erb or Mrs. Harvath know as soon as possible and advise how many children (including your own) that you can take in your car.





***4th graders: please return your music form by May 16



*** Please bring in a pen that you can use to correct in-class work



***I am looking for some great pictures to add to our classroom blog. Please email me you have any pictures from classroom parties or field trips. Thank you!!!!!



***Please email Mrs. Erb if you would like to volunteer to be a swim mom – your help would be greatly appreciated!

–Read at home. 20 minutes for 3rd graders, 30 minutes for 4th graders

–Please bring in a book for DEAR Time (independent silent reading).

- Paragraph Practice – due March 26th ***Please add to your wiki page

****Directions for uploading a paragraph practice onto your wiki page (by Helen and Lily):

• Go to http://hm11.wikis.birmingham.k12.mi.us/

and log in using your school username and password

• Click on student portfolios on the left side of the page

• Find your name and click on it

• Click on your language arts page

• Click on your paragraph practice page

• Press edit on the right side

• Add the title and date for your paragraph practice

• Put you curser inside the “file” box and then click the file button on the tool bar above

• Click the “Upload file” button to search for the paragraph practice you saved on your computer

• When you find you paragraph practice file… double click it to begin uploading

• Wait for it… wait for it…. And once your file appears on the list… double click it again and it will appear in the file box next to the title and date on your chart

• Click “SAVE”

• You are done!

MATH:

-3rd grade: IXL, facts, unit 8 test signed Monday

4th grade: IXL, study- unit 8 test is Monday, fix all unit 8 math boxes by Wednesday
